Meng Jianzhu and Rustam Azimov hold talks in Beijing
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Meng Jianzhu, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Chinese chairman of the China-Uzbekistan intergovernmental committee of cooperation, held a meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan and Uzbek chairman of the China-Uzbekistan intergovernmental committee of cooperation Rustam Azimov in Beijing.
Meng Jianzhu said that for 22 years after Uzbekistan and China established diplomatic relations, bilateral ties have been developing with fast pace, Xinhua agency reported.
He expressed readiness of China to implement reached agreements by the leaders of two states in cooperation with Uzbekistan, fully use potential of the Commission of the Uzbek-Chinese intergovernmental commission on cooperation, speed up construction of Great Silk Road Economic Belt to lift bilateral cooperation to new level.
In his turn, Rustam Azimov said that Uzbekistan considers relations with China as priority direction of foreign policy of the country and ready to deepen bilateral practical cooperation in all areas and support development of Uzbek-Chinese strategic partnership ties.
