Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Committee of Uzbekistan for Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre of Uzbekistan and the National Company “Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary” signed a memorandum of cooperation on the use of Earth remote sensing data (ERS) and high-precision navigation systems.

The parties within the framework of the document intend to cooperate in the field of space science and research. The parties will also exchange Earth remote sensing data and the results of their processing and analysis in the form of geo-products and geoservices.

At the same time, the parties intend to create a high-precision satellite positioning system and navigation equipment of high and standard accuracy, etc.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties agreed to improve the skills of specialists of the Uzbek body in such areas as development and implementation of remote sensing programs, introduction of space technologies, aimed at solving socio-economic problems and conducting remote sensing development work.
