Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The e-Government Project Management Center and the UK Public Digital Services have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of digital government.
The Government Digital Services (GDS), formed in 2011, is part of the UK Cabinet Office and deals with the digital transformation of public services.
Drawing on UK expertise, GDS provides expertise and equal partnership support for effective government digital transformation.
Both sides will focus on strengthening the foundations of digital development in the country, developing digital potential, introducing user-oriented e-services, and creating sustainable and flexible methods for providing public services.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, the British side expressed their readiness to support the provision of better digital public services that will be fully accessible, simple and convenient to use, as well as the development of digital skills and opportunities.
In the ranking of e-government published by the United Nations in 2020, the UK is ranked 7th in the world.
