Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 November, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Erkin Rustamov held a meeting with a delegation headed by the President of the Agricultural and Rural Development Support Organization of the Republic of Turkiye, Mohammed Adak.

The meeting was attended by the directors of the responsible departments of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, the General Coordinator of Project Implementation Ahmet Yazar, the General Coordinator of Project Financing Jihan Korakhan, the Expert on International Cooperation Kurshat Yilmaz and the Expert of the Organization Murat Subashi.

The main topic of the meeting was the complex development of regions and acquaintance with the experience of the Republic of Turkiye in this direction.

At the beginning of the meeting, the guests provided information about the main tasks of the Agricultural and Rural Development Support Organization, the activities carried out by this organization in the field of project financing and regional development for 15 years of its activity.

In turn, the Uzbek side exchanged views on the ongoing reforms in our country and the main directions of regional development in it, as well as the development of cooperation with foreign partners in the implementation of projects.

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on further expansion of cooperation in the above areas.
