Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, together with a delegation of the State Committee for Tourism Development, held talks with the ambassador of the tourism brand in our country - Malaysian actor, citizen of Uzbekistan Daler Yusuf.

During the meeting, the parties summed up the results of the joint work done in 2019 to promote the tourism potential of the republic and increase the attractiveness of Uzbekistan among the population of Malaysia. It was emphasized that over the past year the number of Malaysian tourists visiting Uzbekistan amounted to 4,388 people. This is 60 percent more compared to 2018.

It is worth noting that last year, Daler Yusuf actively worked on the distribution of videos, photos and posts about the cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan in his accounts on social networks, where the number of subscribers is more than 1 million people. The ambassador of the tourism brand also organized a series of joint trips with our subscribers to our country.

Along with this, D. Yusuf expressed readiness to continue close and mutually beneficial cooperation. The parties, having discussed promising areas of cooperation, proposed the development of a Road Map for the implementation of joint projects.

Among them - the organization of filming of individual episodes of the Malaysian film "Seandainya Kau Ada" and the series "Juliet" in Uzbekistan, with the participation of the actor as one of the main characters, the establishment of cooperation between the Uzbekkino National Agency and the leading Malaysian film company "Zeel Production" to promote Uzbek film production in Malaysia, actively promoting the tourism brand of Uzbekistan on the pages of Daler Yusuf on social networks, organizing a joint tourist trip of the ambassador of tourism Randy known Malaysian actors, stars of show business, as well as representatives of fan clubs in Uzbekistan.
