Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Tanzila Narbaeva, met with a delegation from the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TurkPA).

During the meeting, key issues of cooperation among Turkic-speaking countries were discussed, along with an exchange of views on relevant areas of interaction.

The participants positively assessed the democratic reforms being implemented under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, emphasizing the importance of Uzbekistan’s development for all Turkic states and the Islamic world as a whole.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to further strengthen cooperation among the parliaments of Turkic-speaking countries and to actively participate in events held under the framework of TurkPA.
