Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, the Chairwoman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Tanzila Narbaeva, met with the Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Malaysia, Noor Jazlan Mohamad.
During the conversation, both sides noted that in recent years, the relations between the leadership of Uzbekistan and Malaysia have strengthened, facilitating the consistent development of cooperation between the two countries and elevating it to a new level.
The guest emphasized that due to the extensive reforms implemented in Uzbekistan, the country’s investment climate has significantly improved.
The meeting discussed the effective use of parliamentary institutions and the prospects for further strengthening cooperation in this area.
The parties also exchanged views on the implementation of joint research projects focused on the study and development of Islamic civilization, taking into account the historical and cultural heritage.
At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the further development of cooperation in the areas of tourism and trade-economic collaboration, as well as on holding cultural events to strengthen the friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
