Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Pharmaceutical Product Safety Center between the center’s director, Alisher Temirov, and Tara Milani, the new director of the Health Office at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of cooperation in ensuring the safety of pharmaceutical products.
Alisher Temirov presented the main objectives of the Pharmaceutical Product Safety Center, the achievements made, and the projects implemented in collaboration with USAID.
Tara Milani spoke about USAID’s efforts to further develop the healthcare system in Uzbekistan, particularly initiatives aimed at supporting the pharmaceutical sector. She also shared her thoughts on the prospects for future cooperation.
It is worth noting that the collaboration between the Pharmaceutical Product Safety Center and USAID is focused on ensuring that the safety and quality of pharmaceutical products in Uzbekistan meet international standards.
