Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 22 November 2024, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

During the meeting, discussions focused on accelerating the transition to a green economy in the private sector through commercial banks, as well as the allocation of financial resources via market mechanisms and other aspects of transitioning to environmentally sustainable development.

Additionally, the mission participants reviewed the climate change reform agenda, identified priority areas, and discussed the necessary measures and resources for implementing these initiatives.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their intention to continue strengthening cooperation and to hold further negotiations on the implementation of the planned projects.
