Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On approval of administrative regulations for the provision of public services for inclusion in the register of professional mediators” was adopted, Norma reports.

From 1 January 2024, mediators should apply through public service centers or my.gov.uz to be included to the registrar of professional mediators.

The applicant must have a certificate of completion of a special training course in the mediator training program. There is no charge for the provision of this public service.

The decision to include in the register is made within 3 working days. Previously, the review period was 10 days.

Mediation is a method of resolving a dispute with the assistance of a mediator based on the voluntary consent of the parties in order to achieve a mutually acceptable solution.
