Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Measures are being taken to ensure uninterrupted gas production in cold weather in Uzbekistan.

In particular, in the Ustyurt gas production department, along with geological and technical measures in order to increase natural gas production, work is being intensively carried out to ensure the stability of gas production and improve gas quality indicators.

In order to ensure the sustainability of natural gas production processes from control fields during a cold snap, work is systematically carried out to heat pipelines, pump methanol into gas pipelines with special technical means to prevent freezing (hydration) at the gas collection point and gas pipelines.
