Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Minsk Automobile Plant and MAZ-TASHKENT LLC have signed a contract for the supply of MAZ equipment in the amount of US$1 million, BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.

The signing of the document took place as part of the work of the section "Expansion of cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan in the field of industry". It was moderated by Deputy Director General - Financial Director, Chairman of the primary organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women" MAZ Elena Khateeva.

During the work of the section, the head of the department of foreign economic relations for export, Sergei Papkovich, presented the export opportunities of the Minsk Automobile Plant to those present. The Uzbek side also presented the possibilities of companies operating in the country. As a result, the parties noted the high degree of interest of both parties in expanding industrial cooperation.

Minsk Automobile Plant is one of the largest machine-building enterprises specializing in the production of heavy vehicles, special equipment, buses, trolleybuses and trailers. Products comply with Euro-3, 4, 5 and 6 environmental standards. Truck tractors, flatbed trucks, chassis for the installation of various special equipment leave the assembly line of the plant - more than 500 models and 3 thousand modifications in total.
