Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Mayor of Tashkent Shavkat Umurzakov held a meeting with a delegation led by the Chairman of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) Zheng Xuexuan.

Shavkat Umurzakov expressed hope for establishing long-term strategic cooperation. He noted that thanks to the efforts of the President of Uzbekistan, Tashkent and the entire country continue to actively develop, creating favorable conditions for both local entrepreneurs and foreign investors.

Zheng Xuexuan emphasized that Tashkent is a beautiful, young, and dynamically growing city. He noted that Chinese businesses see great prospects for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation, achieved at the highest level.

CSCEC views working in Tashkent as an excellent opportunity for business development in Central Asia, he added.

Shavkat Umurzakov highlighted the alignment of plans and goals between the parties, recognizing the significant experience of the company in architecture, infrastructure solutions, and urban development. He proposed fostering cooperation not only in project solutions but also in training local specialists.

CSCEC ranks 13th among the top 500 global construction companies. It entered the Uzbekistan market in 2018 and has since successfully collaborated with local government and private organizations.
