Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An International Folk Festival was held in six cities of Bulgaria from 23 August to 3 September 2018. The festival was organized by the European Association of Folk Festivals and UNESCO.

Maqom band presented Uzbekistan. About 20 musicians was led by Soybdjon Niyazov. The festival included six stages and the Uzbek band won the Grand Prix.

Fund for development of culture and art under the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan in cooperation with Tashkent regional khokimiyat organized the participation of the band in the festival.
