Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree on "Additional Measures to Support Manufacturers and Create Broad Opportunities for Them in Public Procurement."
Starting from 1 January 2025, an open and transparent ecosystem for manufacturers will be implemented in Uzbekistan, providing the following opportunities:
Development of an industrial map, which will include information on manufacturers by regions and products;
Establishment of cooperative ties between state customers and manufacturers, as well as between manufacturers themselves, with the possibility of signing offtake contracts;
Creation of a free trading platform in the "marketplace" format for interaction in "B2B" and "B2C" models.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance will be responsible for the full implementation and sustainable operation of the manufacturers' ecosystem. Additionally, a new "tadbirkorbay" system will be introduced, based on the principle of "public procurement – support for business."
Manufacturers can register on the special information portal for public procurement, accessible through all electronic systems. Among the benefits for participants are a 50% discount on the commission fee for participating in public procurement and the cancellation of the additional deposit when participating in procurement procedures.
