On 29 December 2017, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On forecast of the main macroeconomic indicators and parameters of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2018”.

In accordance with the document, the rate of mandatory contributions to individual accumulative pension accounts will grow from 1% to 2% of income subject to personal income tax.

At the same time, the Government retained the procedure for reducing personal income tax by the amount of funds transferred to INPS.
