Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Manchester City has decided to loan out defender Abdulkodir Khusanov for his development, according to Thehardtackle.

The club’s management aims to provide the young player with more match time, which is crucial for his continued growth. Although Khusanov has adapted to the team's demands, intense competition for spots in the lineup has limited his opportunities to showcase his abilities on the field.

To date, Khusanov has played just nine matches for City and has been on the bench for the last five games. As a result, the coaching staff decided to send him out on loan temporarily to ensure he gets regular playing time.

However, the club still sees Khusanov as an integral part of its long-term strategy and has no plans to part ways with him permanently.

Several clubs from the Premier League and other top European leagues have reportedly expressed interest in the young defender, hoping to make him a key player in their squads.
