Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Uzbekistan, a man has been sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest for illegal cryptocurrency trading.

The Chilanzar District Criminal Court reviewed the case concerning violations of cryptocurrency asset regulations.

The defendant was charged under Part 1 of Article 155-4, which pertains to offenses in this area.

During the trial, the man admitted his guilt and stated that he had been collecting and selling cryptocurrency assets through the account Maxbe6 on the Binance platform, using his iPhone 12 Pro Max for these transactions.

The court ordered the confiscation and disposal of the phone and imposed a 15-day administrative arrest.
