MAN Auto Uzbekistan opens service center in Samarkand
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- MAN Auto Uzbekistan, an Uzbek-German joint venture, opened new service center for maintenance and repair of commercial transport of MAN production in Samarkand city.

Founders of the service center are Uzavtosaniat joint stock company and MAN Truck & Bus AG (Germany).

The service center is located at the territory of 3 hectares, which is equipped with modern technologies. The warehouse of spare parts is equipped with modern computer system. Its area and high level of technical equipment will allow to render services to 3,500 trucks a year.

The center has stationary oil distribution stations, which have six tanks with 1,500 liters each. Service workers, entering special code, can add additional lubricants to trucks.

The center has special equipment on cleaning exhausts to ensure security of employees. The center also has unique hydraulic elevator.

Specialists of the center underwent training at enterprises of elevator abroad. It is expected that they will train local youth at educational center of the enterprise.

General Director of MAN Truck & Bus on CIS Lars Himmer said: “We laid first stone here in April 2011. After eight month, we are opening such service center, which works in international standards. We hope to meet soon at the opening ceremony of the plant on truck production.”
