Secretary General of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat said there was tangible growth in relations between Uzbekistan and Malaysia in recent years. This is evident at businessmen’s official meetings, continuous business relations and in the fact that trade between the two countries is increasing with every passing year. Today there is a high interest in Malaysia in products produced in Uzbekistan. Therefore, projects have been reviewed on prospecting for rich underground resources in Uzbekistan, processing them in cooperation and opening new deposits.

This visit and agreements reached during it make it possible to initiate cooperation on furniture and food production and step up trade relations, Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat said.
