Majority of Newborns Have Parents Aged 25–39
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–June 2025, civil registry offices in Uzbekistan recorded 405,508 live births, according to the National Statistics Committee.
An analysis of births by parents’ age shows that most children were born to mothers aged 25–39, who accounted for 59.9% of all births. Women under 25 gave birth to 38.6% of newborns, while mothers over 40 made up only 1.5%.
As for fathers, 82.1% of newborns had fathers aged 25–39. Men under 25 accounted for 10.4% of births, while those aged 40 and over made up 7.5%.
