Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 February, the Majilis of Kazakhstan ratified an agreement with Uzbekistan on allied relations.

The agreement was signed in Tashkent on 22 December 2022 as part of the state visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Uzbekistan.

The main goal of this agreement is to fully realize the potential of interaction between the two countries.

The document is aimed at strengthening ties in various areas, including expanding trade turnover, attracting investments and developing cooperation in industry, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, construction, transit and transport logistics.
