Economy24/04/2008Main tasks on Customs Union formation to be solved by 2010
The Kazakh delegation was headed by Industry and Trade Minister Vladimir Shkolnik. The key issue on the agenda was formation of the Customs Union and single economic space.
According to EurAsEC Secretary General Tair Mansurov, further activity on creation of the Customs Union was defined. “Thirteen documents signed at the sitting will help solve main tasks on the Union’s creation by 2010”, he said.
EurAsEC includes six countries: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia have observer status in the organization.
