Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Danish cargo airline Maersk Air Cargo will launch flights to Uzbekistan along Billun-Navoi-Hangzhou-Navoi-Billun route. The cargo carrier’s first flight is scheduled for 20 March 2023.
Maersk Air Cargo will start flights six times a week with a subsequent increase to 36 times a week. Cargo planes of the Boeing 767 type will fly from Denmark via Uzbekistan to China and back. Navoi airport will become a transfer point for technical landing, refuelling and crew changes of the airline’s aircraft.
Maersk Air Cargo is a Danish cargo airline headquartered in Billund, Denmark. The company was established in 2022 on the basis of Star Air, part of the Maersk logistics group.
