"Made in Uzbekistan" National Product Exhibition opens in Pakistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 February 2025, the first-ever "Made in Uzbekistan" national product exhibition in the history of Uzbekistan-Pakistan relations opened in Lahore.
The event, initiated by the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, brought together heads of relevant ministries and agencies, industry associations, and over 500 business representatives from both countries.
Around 100 leading Uzbek companies showcased their products in sectors such as electrical engineering, construction materials, textiles, leather and footwear, furniture and woodworking, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food processing, and tourism.
As part of the exhibition, B2B and G2B meetings were organized, allowing entrepreneurs to establish new business contacts, discuss potential joint projects, and explore the technical and legal aspects of future trade agreements aimed at increasing bilateral trade.
Experts believe that "Made in Uzbekistan" will serve as a key platform for promoting Uzbek products in the Pakistani market, strengthening business ties, and launching new investment initiatives.
By the end of the event, trade contracts worth $500 million are expected to be signed between Uzbek and Pakistani enterprises.
