Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 November 2024, the city of Türkmenabat hosted the grand opening of the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition, held as part of the Second Turkmen-Uzbek Interregional Forum.
The opening ceremony was attended by Dilshod Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Mergen Gurdov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, along with officials, business leaders, and representatives of various ministries and organizations from both countries.
Uzbekistan’s national pavilion showcased innovative developments and high-quality products that meet international standards.
The exhibition covered a wide range of industries, including agriculture, construction, tourism, automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, textile, silk, leather and footwear, and food production sectors.
The Made in Uzbekistan exhibition represents a significant step toward strengthening trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, building on a series of successful initiatives aimed at fostering mutually beneficial cooperation.
