Finance 09/07/2007 Madad’s premium revenue up 60% in 1H 2007

The results of financial and business activity in the year 2006 and the areas for development in 2007 were discussed during the general shareholders meeting of Madad Insurnace Agency.

Along with the financial results for the year 2006, the company’s management presented the estimates for the first half of this year.

Thus, the company’s revenue in the first half of 2007 exceeded the target by 14%, and grew by 60% against the 1H 2006, UzReport.com reported.

Within the frame of the company’s main activity, the premium revenue earned in the reporting period exceeded 260 million soums (up 65% against 1H 2006). All company divisions demonstrated a stable income growth.

The revenue collected in the section of property insurance grew 3 times, and in personal insurance – 1.5 times. A major contribution to the positive results were made by the branches of Tashkent region, Republic of Karakalpakstan, Surkhandarya, Bukhara and Samarkand regions.
