Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  A delegation from the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan participated in one of the largest global telecommunications forums, the M360 GSMA summit, which recently concluded in Qatar.

During the event, Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov delivered a presentation highlighting the country’s potential in the field of information technology, initiatives to develop the sector, the preparation of qualified personnel, and efforts to attract investments.

During the ceremony, the Minister received the symbolic baton, officially confirming that the next M360 GSMA summit will take place in Tashkent in 2025.

This moment marked an important milestone, officially assigning the responsibility to the Minister for organizing the upcoming event in Uzbekistan.

Hosting the M360 GSMA summit in Tashkent will open new opportunities to strengthen Uzbekistan’s international image, attract foreign investments, and create jobs.
