In the result of conducted work three exploration wells were drilled in cooperation with the Czech company Eriell. Currently, the company tests these wells and studies core (examples of extracted stocks). After that the company will specify reserves of gas at the field.

Aleksander Jalnin, head of the Department of drilling of Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company LLC, said that Kandym group of field consists of six gas condensate deposits. Lukoil has started to develop gas condensate fields in early 2009 and started to drill the first wells in this territory, he added.

Exploration works includes complex of geological and geophysical researches, as well as work on testing productive horizons. In the result of exploration works, the reserves volume will be calculated and geological materials will be prepared. These will be necessary for further development of the field.
