The company announced tender for holding 3D seismic exploration at Pachkamar, Amanata and Koshquduq of Gissar investment block.

According to announcement of the company, average annual work volume should make up at least 500 square meters. The application will be received till 19 March. The results will be announced in the second quarter of 2013.

Currently, Lukoil is working on implementation of three projects in Uzbekistan – Kandym-Khauzak-Shady-Kungrad, Southern-Western Gissar and Uzbek part of Aral Sea as part of international consortium.

Reserves of contract area of Gissar block is 82.3 billion cubic meters of gas. The maximum volume of gas production will make up 4.2 billion cubic meters of gas a year. Total investments will make up US$1.2 billion.

Lukoil is planning to increase gas production up to 18 billion cubic meters and increase investment volume into Uzbekistan up to US$5 billion.
