Lucca Gold Factory plans to open a jewelry manufacturing facility in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Turkish jewelry company Lucca Gold Factory is set to invest in Uzbekistan, according to the press service of the Namangan regional administration.
On 3 March, Namangan region’s governor, Shavkat Abdurazzakov, held a meeting with a delegation from the company, led by CEO Yalçın Akın.
During the discussions, the parties explored the establishment of a joint jewelry production venture with foreign investments.
As part of the project, a new enterprise, Namangan Gold Factory, will be founded, with Lucca Gold Factory investing US$5 million in direct foreign investment.
Both sides highlighted Namangan’s strong potential in jewelry manufacturing and export, as well as Lucca Gold Factory’s extensive experience in the industry.
Following an inspection of available sites, the Turkish delegation will select the most suitable location for the future facility.
