Los Angeles 2028 Organizing Committee unveils official Olympic logo

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in Los Angeles in 2028. The LA28 logo, inspired by a city where everyone is different and everyone has their own unforgettable characteristics, illustrates the power of diversity in Los Angeles and challenges a unique identity.

Built for the digital age, the animated emblem is designed to evolve over time, reflecting the spirit of the city with its limitless possibilities.

Los Angeles challenges a unique identity. There is no one way to represent Los Angeles, said LA28 Chairman Casey Wasserman. “Every neighborhood, every neighborhood, every person has their own unique identity and history of Los Angeles. LA28 games will showcase the collective creativity of our community and celebrate the diversity that makes us strong.”

The LA28 emblem, embellished with bold and static L, 2 and 8, allows for an exceptional spectrum of stories with changing “A” dynamics. "Los Angeles is an endless canvas that features millions of people and hundreds of languages," said Amy Gleason, director of marketing for LA28. "No one can ever express what Los Angeles and the Games represent."

The best way to showcase the LA28 Games is to ask the community to help create them. ”

Designed as a platform for creativity, expression and inclusion, the LA28 emblem is a collection of voices, not a single monument or landmark. To commemorate the launch of the logo, more than 20 people brought their personal stories to life with the artistic “A” in the LA28 logo. For the next eight years, LA28 will be a community-written story.

“The possibilities for co-creation are limitless,” said Casey Wasserman.
