Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Chinese company Longyuan Power Group plans to implement investment projects in the field of alternative energy in Ferghana.

A meeting with representatives of Longyuan Power Group, which specializes in the construction and operation of wind and solar power plants, was held at the Ferghana Regional Administration.

During the meeting, issues related to Longyuan Power Group’s investment in major energy projects in the region were discussed. The company is involved in the design, construction, and management of various types of power plants, including wind, solar, geothermal, tidal, gas, coal, and biomass. Additionally, it engages in electricity sales, energy equipment and coal sales, as well as providing maintenance and repair services for power plants and equipment.

Regional authorities highlighted the company’s advanced experience in the energy sector and the potential for cooperation, particularly in the installation of solar panels and solar battery charging stations at large enterprises. Discussions included proposals for constructing compact substations in various areas of the region and information about industrial zones such as the "Shursuv" industrial zone.

Specific officials have been appointed to work with company representatives to explore industrial zones and develop promising projects.
