Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Great Britain Otabek Akbarov said that the goal of the Day of Uzbekistan Cinema is to familiarize London community with life and traditions of the Uzbek people, Uzbekkino’s press service said.

The event was held at the cinema hall of the headquarters of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The participants watched the film titled Shabnam of the director of Mirmaqsud Ohunov.

About 300 people participated in the event and received information on current state and perspectives of development of cinematography in Uzbekistan.
