Logistic Centre to transport uranium from Uzbekistan to France

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Kazakh company TOO Logistic Centre will handle the transportation of uranium concentrate from Uzbekistan to France via transit through Russia, according to data from UZEX.
The state enterprise Navoiuran has signed an agreement with the company under which 500 containers will be transported from the port of St. Petersburg to Malvési.
The total volume of cargo is expected to reach up to 6,000 tons, with the contract valued at €9 million.
The transportation is planned to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2026.
Under the agreement, the company is responsible for ensuring the cargo’s safety throughout the entire route.
