Nasaf suffered a 5-1 defeat at the hand of El-Jaish of Qatar. Korean midfielder Ko Seul-ki scored a hat-trick, while Brazilian striker Nilmar and Abdurahman Abkar were on target as well. Farrukh Sayfiev netted only goal of Nasaf in the match.

Vice-champions of Uzbekistan Locomotive were defeated in Tashkent by SC Kuwait of Kuwait with the score 3-1. Issam Jemaa scored all goals of the Kuwaiti club and Ivan Nagaev scored for Locomotive.
