Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the "Mesal Water Technologies" enterprise located in Yangiyul district of Tashkent region.

One of the priorities of social programs implemented in the country is ensuring access to drinking water and developing sewage systems. This issue is particularly important for the rapidly growing cities in the Tashkent region.

As part of the third phase of the project "Reconstruction and Construction of Drinking Water Supply and Sewage Systems in the Tashkent Region," work is underway to modernize the relevant facilities in cities such as Chirchik, Almalyk, Angren, and Bekabad.

The "Mesal Water Technologies" enterprise produces over 30 types of specialized equipment and installations for water treatment plants.

The investment in the project amounted to US$1.7 million, incorporating energy-saving technologies from China, Germany, and Turkey. The enterprise holds international certifications and provides jobs for 50 people.

The President emphasized that further development of such enterprises will contribute to improving the living conditions and health of the population.
