Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the first quarter of 2019, the volume of issued loans to individuals made up 26.7 trillion soums, which grew by 82% year-on-year or 9% compared to the beginning of 2019, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said.

The share of problem loans in the structure of loans to individuals amounted to 65 billion soums, having increased over the past period of the current year by 38 billion soums or 1.4 times.

It should be noted that the share of problem loans of individuals remains low and amounts to 0.2% at the reporting date.
