The opening of a subsidiary of LiuGong will be a significant contribution to the development not only in Uzbekistan, but throughout Central Asia. The company brings cutting-edge technology and experience that will help improve efficiency and speed up processes in various areas where construction equipment is required.

According to LiuGong Chairman and CEO, Zeng Guangan, he is watching the growth of the Uzbek economy and believes in its continuation. The opening of a subsidiary LiuGong Central Asia contributes to strengthening relations between the company and Uzbekistan, as well as China and Uzbekistan.

Zeng Guangan stressed that the company will promote local economic development, job creation and management based on the concept of openness, tolerance and mutual benefit. He expressed confidence that the high-quality development of LiuGong will make a significant contribution to the development of Uzbekistan.

Senior Vice President of LiuGong, Lou Guobing, noted that the company plans to create a base in Uzbekistan for developing its business in Central Asia. According to him, the geographical location of Uzbekistan will allow the company to expand its presence to other markets in Asia and Europe.

He stressed that Uzbekistan will become a logistics hub thanks to the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway. He also noted that the expansion of the railway to Iran and Russia will open up new opportunities.

Mr. Luo Guobing said that the company plans to study the needs of Central Asian customers together with local partners and adapt its equipment to their requirements. He stressed that the customer’s success is also a success for LiuGong.

LiuGong Development: Innovation and Success

LiuGong was founded in the 1960s and has become one of the leading manufacturers of specialized machinery in its 65 years of existence.

The company’s chairman, Zeng Guangan, noted that LiuGong’s development can be divided into three stages. The first stage is the beginning of the company’s activities. In 1966, the first front loader was produced.

The second stage is the rapid development of LiuGong from 1980 to 2000. During this time, the company held an initial public offering on the stock exchange and became a partner of leading European manufacturers of components. This period is considered the period of strong development of the company.

According to Zeng Guangan, the third stage is the start of supplies of LiuGong equipment to international markets. This allowed the company to reach its current heights. We have divided the markets into eight regions and set up more than 30 overseas subsidiaries and overseas agencies. Our main goal now is to provide our customers with quality equipment and services.

Innovation is an essential way to achieve high-quality development. In a global competitive environment, innovation is the main driving force for the development of high-quality enterprises. Only through innovation can we ensure our core competitiveness, Zeng Guangan emphasized.

The company president noted that in 2019, LiuGong became the first manufacturer in China to use the 5G network to develop an intelligent and remote-controlled wheel loader. In addition, in 2020, LiuGong introduced an unmanned road roller to the market, ahead of its competitors in this field.

Behind the company’s innovations, according to Zeng Guangan, is the national earthmoving engineering technology research center. This center is the only one in China.

The center allows the company to always be at the forefront of developing more advanced technologies and high-quality products, ahead of its competitors. It provides the company with a differentiated competitiveness and is a key factor in achieving high-quality development, he stressed.

LiuGong Overseas Business Development

LiuGong has been developing its overseas business since 2002, said Luo Guobing. During this time, the situation in each market was different, but the high standards set for the company’s products and personnel allowed it to conquer markets.

LiuGong has over 300 dealers worldwide and sells its products in over 170 countries. The company also has research and development centers, which helps to strengthen its position in various markets and promote technology.

The success of LiuGong’s internationalization is due to several factors. First, the company has high strategic goals and strategic thinking, focusing on building the "international LiuGong".

Secondly, the integration of culture and values plays an important role in the process of internationalization. The company actively interacts with local government agencies, customers, partners and the community.

The third success factor is the training and attraction of both international and local talents in LiuGong’s internationalization process.

The fourth factor is the presence of a strong research and development system and an international operating system. LiuGong constantly upgrades its R&D system and has relevant financial, procurement, personnel and IT systems that meet the needs of international business development.

The fifth factor is the continuous improvement and promotion of the LiuGong brand in all stages of the company’s development.

Active cooperation with various partners such as SINOSURE (China State Export Credit Insurance Company), regional financial institutions and insurance companies is the sixth success factor of LiuGong in developing its overseas business. This partnership helps to minimize export-import risks and provides additional support to the company.

In addition, Luo Guobing noted that the spirit of activity and cooperation is an important aspect. The company always strives for continuous development, is open to new ideas and is ready to cooperate with partners to achieve mutual benefits. This allows LiuGong to adapt to changing market conditions and successfully develop its overseas business.

Conference for distributors

As part of the opening ceremony, a conference of distributors was also held. The conference was attended by the company’s partners from Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan. During the conference, Deputy General Director Liugong for the Russian-speaking region Syu San spoke about the company’s development strategy in Central Asia.

The opening ceremony also saw the handover ceremony of the 970E excavator to a regular customer of the distributor of the Chinese company Megavan.
