Insurance life and health of rescuers is conducted independently from other types of mandatory insurance, set by the legislation of Uzbekistan, the regulation said.

Life and health of insured person is an object of mandatory insurance. Moral damages, caused to the insurance person in connection with insurance case, will not be covered with mandatory insurance.

The agreement on mandatory insurance of life and health of rescuers will be signed by insurance company and organizations, which have rescue service or unit, for one year.

The insurance sum on mandatory insurance of rescuers is equal to 84-size of minimal salary, set in Uzbekistan on the day of payment, per one insured person.

The insurance premium will be equal to 20% of the size of minimal salary, set in Uzbekistan, per one person. The insurance policy should be purchased for each rescuer.

The expenses for insurance will be covered by the state budget for budget organizations. Legal entities, which have rescue services or units, should buy insurance policies themselves. Legal entities, which created new rescue service or unit, should obtain insurance policies within a month after creation of such service or unit.

The regulation also regulates issues of signing and execution of insurance agreements, order of paying of insurance payouts.
