Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan and Liberia have established diplomatic relations, announced Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.

"Liberia has become the 154th country with which we have established diplomatic relations," Saidov wrote on his Telegram channel.

During a meeting with Liberia’s Foreign Minister Sarah Beysolow Nyanti, a Joint Communiqué was signed.

The ministers agreed that the foreign ministries of both countries would coordinate efforts and develop an initial agenda for future cooperation.
