MPs discussed a draft law “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan”. The draft law envisages to introduce changes and amendments to Criminal-Procedural Code, Civil Code, Family Code, and some other laws. The document harmonizes terminologies in the laws.

After the discussions, the law was passed and directed to the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.

MPs discussed a draft law “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan in connection with improvement of legislation on intellectual property”. The document envisages to introduce changes and amendments to several codes and laws of Uzbekistan.

The document will help to unification and single use of norms and terminologies in intellectual property, as well as expand protection of intellectual property rights. MPs passed the law in the first reading.
