Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan passes law “On realtor activity”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan adopted laws “On realtor activity” and “On introduction of amendments to appendix No. 1 to resolution of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan from 12 May 2001 No. 222-II “On list of activities, carrying out of which requires license”.

The documents are directed at regulating real estate market, creation of favourable conditions for skilled people for professional activity in this sector.

Adaptation of law will become serious barrier for those people, who do not have enough skills in this sector.

Legislative chamber directed these laws to Senate of Oliy Majlis for further consideration.

According to the State Committee of Uzbekistan, currently 2,516 organizations render mediatory services in real estate market. In line with experts, there are more people, who work in the market without state registration.
