The press service of the Legislative Chamber said that the law is directed at further improving legislative base of aviation industry, implementation of international standards and recommendations into national legislation, raising flight safety and quality of services for passengers.

The document envisages harmonization of some articles of Air Code with national legislation and international agreements, signed by Uzbekistan, as well as implement recommendations of ICAO commission, related to improving structure of air space of Uzbekistan.

The law will allow to eliminate old legal norms, determine rights of airlines on creation of their own rules.

MPs passed the law after the discussions and it will be directed to the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan for consideration.
