MPs of Uzbekistan discussed draft law “On introduction of amendments and changes to Criminal-Procedure Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. After some deliberations on each article, the law was adopted.

The committee on judicial and legislative affairs presented draft law “On amendments and changes to the administrative liability code of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. In the course of discussions, MPs suggested improve some articles of the law. The document will be amended in 3rd reading.

Furthermore, the Committee on Democratic Institutions, NGOs and citizens’ self-governing bodies presented draft law “On guarantees of child’s rights”. The law was adopted in the second reading.

Legislative Chamber reviewed draft law “On ratification of international convention on protection of non-material cultural heritage”. The legislative branch approved this document.

Other documents such as “On ratification of agreement about further development of bilateral relationship between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan”, “On amendments of Article 16 of the Law “On Advertisement”, “On postal service” were also considered and adopted in the regular session.
