Committee on democratic institutes, NGOs and citizens’ self-governing bodies of Legislative Chamber organized the event in cooperation with the office of the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Representatives of Legislative Chamber, ministries and departments, NGOs and international organizations, as well as media participated at the event.

The seminar considered issues on reflecting requirements of the Convention on child rights and international documents on protecting child rights into national legislation, as well as role of the parliament in ensuring children rights.
