The document was developed in order to protect lives and health, as well as property of citizens, protect their rights and interests, raise quality and security of automobile transportation services.

The document determines priority directions of state policy of traffic safety, concretizes requirements to technical condition and equipment of vehicles and roads.

MPs approved the concept of the law and passed it in the first reading.
