The document was developed due to some gaps in legislation related to this sphere, including regulating issues on use of state symbols, inexistence of ban for their use in commercial purpose, as well as administrative responsibility for violation of requirements of the legislation.

Legislative Chamber passed the law in the third reading after discussions and directed it to the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
