Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Leapmotor will operate in Uzbekistan through an official distributor.

On 13 April 2025, Leapmotor Automobile Co. Ltd. sent an official letter to the Agency for Technical Regulation of Uzbekistan and the State Institution "Scientific and Testing Center for Quality Control of Uzbekistan."

In the letter, the company acknowledged the importation of C16 model vehicles into Uzbekistan through unauthorized distributors and expressed its readiness to take measures to address the arising issues.

According to the letter, Leapmotor will conduct its operations in the Republic of Uzbekistan exclusively through an official distributor.

Vehicles imported unofficially (through unauthorized channels) are not recognized by the company and will not be covered by official warranties or service support.

The testing process for obtaining Vehicle Type Approval (VTA) will be completed as soon as possible.

Further collaboration with UzTest will be established to enhance quality control.

This collaboration aims to ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of vehicles with technical requirements.
