Leading travel companies and media representatives from Singapore in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the visit of the President of the Republic of Singapore to the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to strengthen cultural ties with the Republic of Singapore and increase the number of tourists from this state, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism organizes an info tour for representatives of Singapore’s leading travel companies and media representatives at the head of the National Association of Travel Agencies of Singapore (NATAS).

It should be noted that Singapore is one of the richest countries in the South Asian region, and every year millions of tourists go to foreign countries. Since the weather in Singapore is warm all year round and there are no mountainous areas, most Singaporeans go to the ski resorts of Japan, South Korea and European countries. In this regard, Singaporean tourists may be interested in the all-season ski resorts of Uzbekistan, such as Amirsoy, as well as the Charvak-Chimgan and Zaamin ski resorts, which are planned to be launched in the near future.

The first point of the delegation’s stay was also the all-season ski resort "Amirsoy", where the guests got acquainted with the infrastructure facilities of the complex.

According to the director of EU Holidays, Mr. Wong, the conditions created in this complex are not inferior to the ski resorts of Japan or South Korea and are much cheaper in cost. And acquaintance with historical cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva help to make the journey of Singaporean guests more eventful.

Representatives of the delegation on 20 May visited the Samarkand region. During the visit, the delegation visited such tourist sites as Guri Emir, the Registan complex, Shakhi Zinda, as well as the Silk Road Samarkand tourist complex, suitable for MICE tourism.

The director of the Singapore travel company Pegasus Travel Management, Mr. Ch. Tan noted that five-star (5 *) and four-star (4 *) hotels located in this complex are convenient for foreign entrepreneurs and businessmen, and that this complex has all conditions for organizing major international events.

In accordance with the program, members of the delegation also visited Bukhara and Khiva, in addition, their participation in the Uzbek-Singaporean business forum, which will be held tomorrow, May 24, in Tashkent, is planned.
